Jack Litowitz

Jack Litowitz joined QStar Capital as an Advisor in 2016 and became the Director of Strategic Investments in 2021. Jack oversees the firm’s thematic investments with a focus on frontier sciences. While at QStar, Jack has additionally overseen the creation of much of the firm’s investment infrastructure and processes. Jack also participates as a board member at several QStar portfolio companies.

Prior to QStar, Jack worked as a member of the Distressed Credit Group at Cerberus Capital Management in New York. Jack also has past experience at both Blackstone as a part of their special situations investment group (BSOF), and Magnetar Capital as a part of their event-driven and M&A group.

Jack graduated cum laude from Middlebury College with a BA in economics and philosophy. He was a 4-year varsity cross country and Track & field athlete and is also a four-time All-American in triathlon and represented the USA at the 2014 World Championships.
